Difficulties to install Spotify

Hello

 

I tried installing the Spotify app in my Versa Lite and it's telling me I need the firmware version 68.9.15. Is there an estimate on when will this available on Android?

Hi @SynbiosTael  that is the version that came out before the newest one. You can read about it here - click to go there. The firmware is for the actual device, not for your Android system.

I guess the real question is, when will we be able to install the Spotify app on a Versa Lite?

This is what I'm seeing:

Fitbit app is up to date, firmware is 38.33.1.30 and All day sync is on

I just checked out the specs on the Versa Lite and the Versa 2. Music is on the Versa 2, not the Lite. I'm not sure it will be on the Lite, since the Lite has fewer features than the Versa 2. Lite doesn't have an altimeter, so it can't recognize flights of stairs, either.

Thank you for your question about how to install Spotify on your Fitbit Versa Lite.

 

It is true that Versa Lite has fewer features than Versa 2, however, you should be able to install Spotify on your watch as stated on this site.

 

The latest version of the firmware for your watch is 38.70.7.14. Instructions to find the version of your watch and how to update can be found on this article.

I’m having the same problem, the settings say my versa lite is up to date, but Spotify is showing the same message as well as multiple other apps and watch faces that say they are versa lite compatible

I got an update notification today and after the update the app was available to be installed, so I guess that was the update we were missing.
