Difficulties with Versa 2 firmware update

Please could someone help me?

My versa 2 keeps showing tracker software update available, I update it and when I check again it's there, the tracker keeps synchronising and running the battery down.

I've tried updating it on Windows 10 desktop and update disappears for a while but then returns both on desktop and mobile, my phone is a Samsung A40, the app used to work fine, until this happened, I've tried resetting the tracker, setting up new tracker etc, think I've tried everything, I'm on the verge of throwing it in the bin now (it's practically new and was expensive) 

I'm honestly running out of options now...... Please can anyone help??
