Difficulties with quick replies-Versa Lite

I have a Versa Lite and since the update, I am unable to pull down a text and reply.

When I get a text, the notification and banner preview are there and then it disappears. When I pull down to open, it will show up for a moment and then disappear. I've read that selecting "open" is supposed to open my phone app (which is stupid since I'm not near my phone), but it doesn't do that either.
I used to be able to send a quick reply (and I heard that there was now supposed to be an option to voice text reply), but now I have no response options at all.
Any suggestions on how to get my text reply option back?

I'm sorry to hear that you are having difficulties to use quick replies from your Fitbit Versa Lite.

This feature is currently available on devices paired to an Android phone. If you have an Android device, you should be able to respond to your notifications via text. 

From your watch home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen to see your notifications. For instructions to navigate your watch, please visit this article. If when selecting a notification you don't have the option to reply, please make sure that you are following our guide to set up quick replies.

Whether you continue having difficulties, restart your watch by following these instructions. In addition, you can set up your watch as a replacement device:

1. Tap the Today tab, and tap your profile picture.
2. Tap Set Up a Device.
3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

Currently, voice replies are available on Fitbit Sense, Fitbit Versa 3 and Fitbit Versa 2 only.
