Difficulty with Versa Lite

Hello there. I got my Fitbit Versa Lite yesterday for my birthday and I've been having some difficulties with it thus far. My main issue at this point in time is that I can't install apps like Spotify onto my Fitbit. It says either my watch or my app is out of date, but both refuse to update any more. I haven't compared the version numbers, but I'm not sure they'll tell me much as this point. Help would be appreciated. I'm also having difficulty with notifications showing up, but one thing at a time. Thank you in advance.

Is your phone on the list of Approved Devices and does it have the updated Operating System mentioned in the article I referred you to?

Try a Restart and do it several times if necessary.

From my knowledge, I've restarted it 3 or 4 times to no avail. In all honesty, I think the versa lite itself needs to be updated, but it says it's up to date on the app. I compared some version numbers and mine seemed to off a few patches.

I'm having the exact same problem! I just got mine, too. I set it up Thursday night, and it says the version of the app or watch need to be updated to install Spotify. I can't figure out the issue.

Both of you need to do a Factory Reset which forces the latest update.  Swipe left to Settings, then About, and then Factory Reset.
