Since the new firmware we now have quick settings appearing when ever you pull down for your notifications list . .  How do I get rid of this as I do not want it as it is interfering with my messages.

Thanks

Hi @RCMadShane , you can solve that by assigning the "Quick Settings" to the left button. A long press of this button will then show you these settings and swiping down form top to bottom will show you your messages again. How to do that: see the manual. Regards kuzibri

Hi there . ..  Sorry that's not the case . . . The Quick Settings are already assigned to the Button and always were I have not changed that since new,  I need to remove them from the pull down

As the Manual says on page 15 . .

"The home screen is the clock.

Swipe down from the top of the screen to see notifications and access the

shortcuts to music controls and quick settings. The shortcuts disappear after 2"

I do not want the "shortcuts to music controls and quick settings" to appear when I swipe down

How do we stop this happening

@RCMadShane   Yes, as you concluded, the advice offered by @SunsetRunner is not correct.  I want you to know that you are not alone in this opinion.  You should vote for and comment on this Feature Suggestion .  And if you can go back to the old firmware, please share.  I think everyone who voted for the Feature Suggestion wants to know.

This was made known to Fitbit that this was an issue prior to the end of September. I am wondering why this is taking so long to fix. I was going to purchase 2 more Fitbits for Christmas this year but not if Fitbit can't- or more accurately- WON'T FIX.

THIS IS RIDICULOUS.

@JordanElizabeth @RCMadShane  while it may be annoying, take a deep breath and wait half a second and you will notice that the "Quick Settings" shade will roll back up and be out of the way.

Umm... Your response serves no purpose. If YOU take a moment and take a deep breath- you will realize that you could have just scrolled past my response. 🙂 Toodles.Sent via the Samsung Galaxy Note9, an AT&T 5G Evolution capable smartphone
