Hi I bought a Versa 2 recently and I loved it! I learned to use the Versa through it's manual. I realized today that I can turn the screen on when it's off by tapping on it. But the manual doesn't mention it (it only mentions turning on the screen using the home button) and I am quite confused by the behavior. It seems sometimes one single light touch will turn it on. But sometimes it takes 2 really hard taps, if not more, to turn it on. Can someone explain to me how turning on the screen by tapping works?

@pf13147 Thanks for getting back.
Since the screen doesn't always turn on when you tap it. I would suggest to restart your watch and check if it turns on with one normal tap. Check below the information from the Product Manual:

@pf13147 Welcome to the Community. Thanks for the details mentioned.
I'm glad to hear that you bought a Versa 2 and you're loving it. You could navigate Versa 2 by tapping the screen, swiping side to side and up and down, or pressing the button. So you could change the screen wake setting on your watch but the tapping option will always work. I found that information on the Product Manual.
I have the Versa 2 too and, I've noticed that sometimes the screen might take some time to turn on but it might depend on the clock face that I'm using. Which clock face are you using?

Hi @SilviaFitbit, I am using the default clock face (Waveform) right now but I've also tried other clock faces and noticed the same inconsistency, so I don't think it's related to the clock face. I've also read the manual and it doesn't mention anything about waking up the screen by tapping (only by pressing the button). What do you think?
