Ok, so my wife is currently on a mission!
4.5 stone lost in just over 12 months!
Couch potato to 10K sorted!
Enjoying her new found energy and I am enjoying the new body!
I convinced her to upgrade to the Versa, as it offered the swim facility. Parted with the £149 with discount offered for her defective FitBit One.
Received the Versa, also added screen protection to it.
Despite all of the precautions taken, the screen cracked within 2 weeks of receiving it, no extreme sports or hard knocks my wife is aware of.
Do FitBit use the same glass as iPhone?
So now we have a FitBit that we are unable to use in the water.
The damage is not covered by the guarantee or warranty.
Surely a fitness watch should be fit for purpose and be robust enough to deal with any knocks?
FitBit contacted and we were offered the 25% discount option.
Has anyone had to replace the screen on a Versa? This would be the cheaper option.
Will not be parting with another £150 for a bit of kit that does not do the job.

Fitbit uses gorilla glass version 3.
As for the iPhone depending on which model iPhone it could gorilla version 3 or 4
BTW I know to many that have broken iPhone screens.
