Display miles on front panel

How can I change the display on the main display on the Versa 3 (the one with the clock)? Ideally I'd like to display miles and steps along with heart rate, but at least I'd like to be able to substitute miles for steps. I've tried changing the Main Goal in the Dashboard on fitbit.com, but that apparently had no effect.

The Versa 3 can do this, but you will need to install a clock face that shows distance.

I currently have installed the clock face called 'stats with binary dial' and it displays distance, steps, floors, calories, zone minutes, heart rate, time, date and battery level. Although the text is a little small with all that data on display.

If you don't like that one, there are probably others that will also show distance.

You can install new faces from the app. These steps are for the Android app:

Go to Account by tapping your avatar face at the top left of the main page, then Versa 3, then gallery.

In the gallery, stay on the Versa 3 page, you will be able to see your already installed faces. Make sure you have spare slots for a new face. You can only install 5 at any one time. If you already have 5 then choose one to remove, tap it and then tap at the bottom where it says 'Remove Clock Face'. Now go to the Clocks page at the top and choose and install your new clock face.

When you install a new face, some require you to agree to giving it access to more of your stats, otherwise it will not be able to display them. Some also have optional settings in the app and some respond to tapping the watch face to change colours etc.

You can switch between any of 5 installed faces from the watch itself. The original face is called Pleat if you want to get back to it.

Hi @James291  - thanks for the full outline, there is one caveat that people often miss, you cant remove the active clock face, and the watch needs to be syncing well when dealing with clock face changes/installs.
