I went for a 4hr 14km hike yesterday and my Fitbit recorded only 7.95 k. When I try to edit in the settings, it saves my updated distance for a few seconds and the reverts back to the old incorrect distance.
1. Why is my distance not being recorded properly?
2. Why can't I edit to the correct distance.
Also noticing I can't sync my maps to strava anymore, the map is almost always cut off or not accurate in strava (even when I can see the full map in fitbit app).
Android and versa 3.

I'm having a similar issue. Last 2 runs I've gone on, the distance was not recorded and every time I add it, it reverts back to not having it. I have tried everything, including deleting the device and reconnecting, as well as deleting the app and reinstalling.

I'm having a similar issue. It use to be that if I did approximately 7500 steps it equalled 3 miles. Now if I do 7700 steps it's still less than three miles. How can 10116 steps equal 3.42 miles and 9685 steps equal 3.55 miles. It doesn't make sense to do fewer steps but have walked further. Something is seriously wrong .

Maybe I solved it: by doing this I managed to permanently correct the data on the Fitbit Mobile App:
1) download Fitbit dashboard to PC
2) in swimming training, correct the wrong distance and saved
3) synchronize with Fitbit Mobile
Remains to be verified with the next training session:
1) synchronize the Fitbit Versa with PC to have the right data on the dashboard
2) synchronize the Mobile App with the PC
