Hi there @PrincipalQueen! Welcome to the Fitbit Community!

Thank you for letting us know about this situation.

Notifications may occasionally skip or stop for a variety of reasons. Please check the following:

Check on your smartphone:

  • Your smartphone must be within 30 feet of your Fitbit device for notifications to be transmitted.
  • You don't see notifications if you have settings like Focus, Do Not Disturb, Quiet Hours, or Drive Mode enabled on your phone.
  • Check if the Fitbit app on your phone is allowed to run in the background.

Check on your Fitbit device:

  • Check if notifications are turned off on your device. To turn them on: Swipe down from the top of your screen. After your notifications appear, swipe down again to open the control center. Tap the quick settings icon. Make sure you don't have the "do not disturb-" and "sleep mode settings".

If you're still not getting the notifications try to follow this steps:

  1. Make sure your phone is set to receive notifications from your Fitbit device. For more info, see How do I set up notifications?
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app and reopen it to sync your Fitbit device.
  3. Reset Bluetooth.
  4. On your phone, tap Settings, then tap Bluetooth.
  5. Turn Bluetooth off on your phone.
  6. Wait 10 seconds and turn it back on.
  7. Open the Fitbit app to sync your Fitbit device.
  8. Restart your Fitbit. Press and hold the button for 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears on the screen, and then release the button.
  9. Open the Fitbit app to sync your Fitbit device.
  10. Refresh notifications.
