Does Versa 2 have smart wake or not?

I could have sworn that I read that a smart alarm feature was going to be on the new Versa 2s, but I don't see any mention of it in device settings and descriptions, and after live chatting with Fitbit they're now saying they do NOT have a smart alarm on the Versa 2. I checked consumer reviews and they're referencing "smart wake" and I could have sworn I read about it, too! I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone now that Fitbit support is denying it. Is this a coming feature? Fake news? Did I just dream it up?

I thought it did too, and it was the main reason I chose the Versa 2. And if they end up offering it as a Premium feature instead of standard when it does come out I will be royally pissed

You have to use the Alarm app on the versa 2 itself.  And you can have up to 8 alarms set, plus snooze!

@Percula   The new firmware will have the Smart Wake feature and is supposed to start its roll out on Dec 3 (from Android Central).  The Fitbit Blog has more.

I just got a Versa 2 a couple of days ago, and mine has Smart Wake. It's on the watch (it may be on the app, too; I haven't checked). It's one of the options when you set an alarm. I have an Android phone and am not sure if it's the same for iPhones. Also, I installed an update this morning (sent thru the app), so Smart Wake could've been part of the update.

I could have sworn I set Smart Wake when I first got my Versa 2, but now I can't find that feature on the app. Those of you who have it, where is it? 

I'm wondering if the feature disappeared in the last app update.

In the alarms app in the watch, I have an option when I set the alarm.

Oh wow! I wonder why I don't have that option. Everything is updated. Latest firmware and app.. Extremely frustrating. 

I do not have this option at all. Nobody from fitbit is answering as to why some people have this function and some do not. This is a major reason why I bought this watch to begin with..
