Hello @Mina2020 thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board.

Please note that many Android phones, like the Google Pixel 3A have all the hardware requirements to be a supported device but are currently not on our list of supported devicesThis means that we have not tested it for compatibility and added it to the list yet. For the time being, we don't have an specific date or time-frame of when is going they will be listed as compatible.

While these devices has all the specifications to be compatible and are currently working with the Fitbit app, it's possible to come across some issues along the way. I appreciate your understanding while we work to improve this experience. In the meantime, please let us know the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far so we can check this further.

if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.

Hi,

I was just wondering if you had any updates on when the versa will be compatible with the pixel 3a?

Thanks

I'm using a Pixel 3a with my Inspire HR.

While the pairing works successfully, it does have sync issues.
The Pixel 3a pairs successfully, and works for a few days, but then loses connection continuously. Sometimes after 2-3 days the phone Pixel 3a syncs successfully, and then is in disconnected mode for another 2-3 days. And so it goes on... It seems that the Pixel 3a has a sync issue with my Fitbit HR. I tried all suggested sync-issue Support articles, reinstalling the app, etc but no luck.  (using latest firmware on my Fitbit Inspire HR and latest app version on my phone)

During the sync issue, it seems that Pixel 3a loses its connection to the FitBit device. In the FitBit app, it keeps on searching... and eventually times out.

I'd love to see FitBit Support look into this.

I just got a Pixel 3a XL last week and I haven't pang problems with syncing.  However, notifications don't work at all. I've checked the Pixel to make sure the latest update was installef, forgotten the Versa in Bluetooth settings, removed the Fitbit app, rebooted both devices, paired them again, checked and rechecked the notification settings in both the Versa and the Pixel, and tried the app's test notification.  I still haven't received a single notification on the Versa.

did you have any luck?

I hope Fitbit can figure out why notifications don't work and fix them.  Right now I feel like I've wasted my money on the Versa.

Hello.

Thank you for responding, but I got it working.

Over the holiday weekend, I gave it another try.  I removed the Versa from the Fitbit app and then removed the pairing from my phone's Bluetooth settings before rebooting my Pixel.  I then did a factory reset of the Versa, and added it to the Fitbit app.  The app found the Versa, but after getting almost half-way done with the firmware update, the app lost communications, even though the Versa continued with the update.  I had to remove the Versa from the app again, and add it a second time.

This time it successfully finished the firmware update.  I then finished setting up the Versa. After this was complete, I tried making a call to my Pixel from another phone.  The Versa finally worked with phone calls!  I then tried notifications, and they worked!  Apparently whatever got confused the first time I set up the Versa is now fixed.

Is your Versa still working? I just got a Pixel 3A and I can't get it to sync with my Versa 2 at all. I've tried everything.

It is but it did take a while to connect and then one day it just connected! It still doesn't sync sometimes but for the most part it works. Hope that helps!

Just got the Versa 2 for Christmas. Synced with my Google Pixel 3a, but as soon as I finished the setup it wouldn't sync anymore.

I've restarted everything, disconnected, re-downloaded the app. It says on Bluetooth the devices are connected, but the app still won't sync.

Any update on when these connectivity issues will be fixed? Mental it's not on the compatibility list, being one of the most sold devices of 2019.

I had to reset the fitbit back to factory settings, then reinstall the
fitbit app on my phone, and it's worked ever since. The only issue I have
is that if I add my water on my Versa 2 it doesn't sync it to the app. I've
had no other issues though.

So I see this information about the Pixel 3a and Versa 2 not receiving text, phone, or calendar notifications was posted in May of 2019.

I understand that it says you can not provide a time when they will be compatible.  So my question then is this...

Is Fitbit even working on this issue?  It's been 6 months for what seems like a software update, and some testing on their device and the (currently) most popular phone in the world.

I look forward to your reply.

No, I purchased the Versa 2 and I couldn't even get it to set up with my Google Pixel 3A. I even went through customer service and they could not help me and the representative told me that the Google Pixel 3A is not a tested/supported device. I am beyond bummed and disappointed.

I am super confused.  I had a Pixel (original) until about a month ago.  Same version of Android as the Pixel 3A, but new hardware.  Google stopped supporting the Pixel (no more updates), and my battery would die unexpectedly, so I upgraded to the 3A.  Now I am entirely regretting the purchase of a fitbit device (Versa) last year... if it is truly not compatible with the HARDWARE on the Pixel 3A, that is a very flimsy system.

Any hope this will be addressed??

I just updated to a pixel 3a XL from a Pixel 2. Never had problems with the 2, but now my fitbit versa constantly loses it's connection with my pixel 3a, during activities. Very annoying, because now my routes are useless...

I'm considerimg returning my pixel 3a xl and going back to my pixel 2...

I did a system reset on my versa and had my problems resolve. I am not
sure it works for everyone, but worked in my case. The irritating part is
having to set up all of your Fitbit apps again... I purchased my Versa a
few months before my Pixel OG really showed signs of needing replaced, so
when I finally bought the 3A, I had buyer's remorse for the Versa, not my
Pixel 3A. Today, I'd point anyone considering the versa to a Wear OS
device. What I get out of the Versa is much less than I get out of my
phone because of the lack of integration.

I bought my Pixel 3a a couple of days ago (Feb 4 2020) and my Versa Lite definitely didn't work. Things got slightly better. Then there was an update today (Feb 6 2020) and things progressively improved. It's nighttime on Feb 6th now and every single feature is working reliably now 🤯 Spotify, GPS while exercising, notifications all day. I'm confused. Did we finally get compatibility???
