Erase Versa- dead Fitbit

How do I clear all information off my Fitbit Versa? Screen is dead, gets hot, won’t work. I am returning it for a replacement but want to make sure personal info is deleted. I can’t do a factory reset bc the screen is black. Can plug in and reset bc the charger is one of those cradles that it sits in so you don’t have access to the buttons.

Hi, @Mat.89! The tracker doesn't store any of your personal information, but you can remove it from your account on the app, if you like.

How do I do that when the screen is black.

Do I need to delete my Fitbit account or do I just change it when I get me
new Versa?

Just go into your Versa settings within the app and there is an option to delete the Versa if you choose. You don't need to delete your whole account. If you choose not to do that, you can just set up your new Versa as a replacement device when you get it. Otherwise, you will set it up as a new device. That's really the only difference.
