My versa lite isnt tracking my runs properly . Today I ran 6.2 miles on runkeeper which is always spot on . Looks at my fitbit it says 2.3 miles anyone know how to resolve this as it was connected to my phone as well at the time and it's happened twice now ?

@Bearballs Welcome to the Community. Sorry for the delayed reply.

Thanks for the details mentioned. It's pretty weird that your Versa Lite is showing half of the distance than Runkeeper.

When you track an activity with GPS, your device calculates your distance using GPS data rather than steps. If you begin moving before you get a GPS signal, your device calculates distance using your steps until GPS connects. I would like you to make sure that your watch isn't loosing the GPS signal, because this might be the reason why it's showing less distance.

Please make sure you're doing this procedure to track your runs using GPS. Also, let me know the phone you're using.

Keep me posted.

I eventually sent it back as fitbit said they were having issues with the versa lite ...paid extra for the ionic and hopefully this will track my movements more accurately

@Bearballs Thanks for getting back. I'm glad to hear that you paid extra and bought an Ionic.

You may want to learn more about it by checking the Product Manual
