Factory Reset inquiry

The hard factory reset using 3 buttons has been tried by many but has no evidence of being true. There is no one in this community who has made it work. Unless there's one person out there who can claim that then we should all assume that this myth was invented by fitbit to sell more units as soon as the warranty expires.

Please note that our main purpose is to avoid negative experiences to our customers, we're always willing to help and provide troubleshooting steps. Then, if the tracker is deemed defective we review eligibility using the one year warranty option.

Our products are indeed designed and made to last (this goes for each product component) however, there is not an infallible way to ensure that no issues will be present in the long run. Because of this, our Warranty Policy is set into providing as much coverage as we can.

@Nafit   You don't press all three buttons on the Versa to do a factory reset.  Page 61 of the Versa manual gives the following directions.  Go to the Settings app on the Versa device > About > Factory Reset.

I do need to ask why you want to do a factory reset, unless to plan to give the device to someone else.  Did you chat with a Fitbit Support tech about your particular issue?  This is your first post.  Someone in the community might have an answer for your issue.
