I keep getting the notification: “Put your records on! Music motivates you to move, helping you score...” and “Get in the zone!”. There is no way to turn this off and it has not been resolved in the forums or either of the 2 times I called support.
I get this at least 5 times a day, and it’s not helping battery life. This is what I have done:
1. I went through and turned off all of the notifications. It seems like a health & wellness notification but those are all off.
2. I tried putting my device in do not disturb but that defeats many of the purposes of the smart watch and apparently just turns off phone notifications.
3. I’ve tried factory resetting and it does not work.
4. I’ve reset it the fitbit with the side button.
5. I’ve reset my phone.
6. I’ve removed the watch from my fitbit profile and added it back on.
7. I’ve logged in and out of the app and I’ve deleted the app and redownloaded it.
8. I’ve tuned off reminders to move.
9. I’ve tried connecting it to my sisters fitbit profile and it did not work.
10. I have turned off absolutely everything in fitbit and versa settings and still get it.
11. I have called support twice about this, & they recommend these troubleshooting steps that do not work.
I have no music apps connected. Yes, my phone is up to date as is my versa. I’ve tried wifi off/ on, resetting bluetooth. Some days I get a dozen of these and it’s distracting and useless. It’s getting to the point where I’m not wearing it and I’m considering switching to an apple watch. I got 15 yesterday. No one seems to know what to do. I’ve been having this issue for over a month. Support in app didn’t know what to do. I keep getting told it’s “reminders to move” but that is completely different. App developers need to adjust it because there is no way for users to turn it off nor can fitbit support apparently.
