My versa 2 would not connect to my pixel 3, so after performing all of the troubleshooting tips, I did a factory reset. Now my watch is displaying the Fitbit logo and saying to "to start, download the Fitbit app". I've done that, and my watch still won't connect to my phone. I even tried to connect the watch to my iPad. Both options were unsuccessful. Please HELP!!
Hello @MzKC are you trying to connect the tracker to your phone, or using the app to setup the tracker to your Fitbit account setting up through the app.
Make sure you have removed the tracker from your phones Bluetooth.
Best AnswerPixel 3XL
It fails when searching for the phone via Bluetooth.
Yes, I've removed the tracker. There's nothing versa related connected to my phone.
Best AnswerAre you saying that the app fails to find your tracker?
Are as you say you can't find the tracker when searching with your phones Bluetooth?
I'm still trying to figure if your doing the add device through the Fitbit app.
Best AnswerMy phone does connect to the watch's Bluetooth. The issue is that when I try to setup a device through the Fitbit app, I get the error msg. The app isn't connecting to the watch. My apologies for the confusion.
Best AnswerIf you where able to connect the phone's Bluetooth to the Versa 2, I'm not asking about Versa 2 Classic, as pointed out above you will need to remove the Versa from the Bluetooth menu.
If the Versa 2 is a trusted Bluetooth device, the Fitbit app, looking for an untrusted device, will not be able to find the Versa.
Best AnswerI removed "Versa" from my phone's Bluetooth. However, that's the only option that pop's up on my phone's Bluetooth menu. I tried connecting again but I'm still receiving the same error msg.
Best AnswerI'm glad, did you get it connected to your Fitbit account?
Once it gets connected to your Fitbit account, then the Fitbit app will connect the tracker to your phones Bluetooth.
