We had instructions to update our Fitbit- have spent the last week trying to do the said update without any luck. The Versa lite screen comes up with a big red cross and says data not synced.
We have reset, removed and replaced app, turned everything off and on again and checked all the boxes that need checking and still no luck. Now our second Versa lite is asking for an update and I’m not prepared to do it until I know it will work!
All app updates are up to date.
Please help!

Let me share with you that the error message you're receiving is because the firmware update of your device failed. That being said, I recommend you to learn more about how to update the firmware version of your Fitbit device with the information that's specified on this help article. Then, please move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why can't I update my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.
