Fitbit App Gets Stuck When Trying to View an App

So. When I go on my Fitbit app, everything is fine. I click on the apps section and that is also fine. When I click on an app I want to install on my Versa Lite, a window pops up and there is just a loading screen forever. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling and that did not fix the problem. Any solutions?

This is an annoying common problem.

 

Clear the cache and make sure the watch is syncing properly and try again.

In Android phone Settings *

Apps

Fitbit

Storage - clear cache [not data]

Force Fitbit shutdown

[though it doesn't seem to fully]

Log back in to the Fitbit app

 

*Quick Shortcut: Press and hold the Fitbit launch icon, then App info [on some phones]

 

Or for IOS uninstall/reinstall the Fitbit App, and redo notification setup.

 

It is wise to restart both watch and phone after clearing the cache to ensure best possible conditions.

The phone App is a better and more complete application.

Unfortunately it seems you will have to make do with the inferior PC app. Sorry.
