I have a Fitbit Versa and a Samsung S9, both purchased last December.
I have been trying to use my Fitbit Versa on bike rides for the last 2 weeks. When I start a bike ride, it usually says connecting for an extended period. Some times it will connect after 2 or 3 minutes, sometimes not at all. Once connected and I start my ride it seems to lose connection. Due to this I am unable to record my route, distance or speed.
I have unpaired and re-paired my Fitbit with my phone numerous times. I have set the Fitbit to be constantly connected. On my phone I have removed every other BlueTooth device, restarted, restarted my Fitbit, etc. but nothing has helped. Based on the fact that there aren't any firmware updates available for my device I believe I am running the most current version of firmware.
It looks like there are tons of people having this same issue. Is there any resolution out there? Or is there something planned that will correct this issue?
