Versa Cover Detached from body

Hi! Just want to share because I have already contacted Fitbit Customer Service and they said they cannot help. I am a first time fitbit user and bought the Versa 1 year, 1 month and 15days ago. 2 days ago, the cover of my versa came loose while running. I could see the inside panel of the screen! I could not reboot as the screen just showed the logo. Asked customer service and they said it is out of warranty and could not suggest a repair centre because they don't have one in my country. This despite them putting up large advertisement posters in Malaysia promoting the versa and sold through authorised dealers. So what am going to do with it as it basically costs me $0.50 a day to use the versa. I am not sure how it is worth it, for anyone to own one.

Mind you, I have not used to swim (imagine what would happened if I used it for swimming which is supposedly waterproof!) but only when running. It has not been knocked against anything large and the screen has no scratches. I have not dropped it from anywhere high but yet the entire touchscreen can be detached from its body.  I am truly disappointed with the service and quality of the item.

thank you.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @ssltam. I am sorry for the delayed response.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing your experience with your device and Customer Support. I am sure they tried to help you in the best possible manner, each case is reviewed individually and the troubleshooting and a solution that's being provided is based on the Fitbit Warranty.  I would like to confirm that Fitbit doesn't have any physical repair centers. I understand how you are feeling as you've invested in the Fitbit Family; however, we as any other company have policies to follow through. While customer satisfaction remains our number one goal, the demands of running a global business require that we enforce our warranty consistently. I appreciate your time and feedback, we're constantly working on improving our devices and user experiences.

If you have any questions, feel free to let me know.
