Versa band feedback

Hi Team,

 
I have been checking online about Fitbit versa bands and all the bands that are attached to the dial have a similar material used which is the same as the band. 
But the watch that I have why was the connection holder between the band and the dial made up of plastic?
 
Looks like I have received a cheap quality Fitbit versa. I had similar band issue with Fitbit and now again I am facing the issue for my 2nd watch. I don't know why the quality was compromised even after I paid the full amount to buy the watch. I'm disappointed with the watch and its quality.
 
I would request you to kindly send a replacement for the entire watch as the issue has been recurring. One of my friends had a similar issue and he got the whole watch replaced. 
 
I am requesting you to kindly look into this issue and please do the needful at the earliest.

This is the email that I got from them to ask for a watch replacement and post it here. That is the reason I reached you guys here. Also, I am being sent a wrong wrist band color- peach since the Ruby one(my original band color) is not available. Please assist in the same.
