Update: This has now released to 100%
We’re excited to announce that a firmware update for Versa, Versa 2, and Versa Lite will be available soon! Some of you may already have this update available - if you installed it, let us know what you think!
If you don’t see the update yet, that’s expected. Check the Fitbit app in a few days, and you’ll see a message when you can install the update. We expect everyone to receive the update in the coming weeks. We appreciate your patience while we get this update to all of our customers.
Did you know that we gradually release our updates? We do this to make sure everything is working just right for you. Sometimes we find an issue and it might take a little longer than expected for everyone to get the update. While you might see suggestions on how to “force” an update, we ask that you don’t try any of these workarounds. Most of the time the update won’t be available and you can lose data or encounter other difficulties. The best way to get the update is to be patient and wait for the update banner to appear in the Fitbit app.

MarreFitbit:
Can Fitbit not fix the 4.2.2 update so that it works rather than renders the devices useless?

Pardon me, but what you don't seem to understand we know the replacement policy the problem is FITBIT is not recognizing that this latest update has caused everyone's Versa2 to fail and all some are asking for is a patch to fix the update and get their perfectly working Versa2's back. Mine had to be replaced and my new pebble is fine but I will never do another firmware update again. My Versa2 was only 8 months old and was perfect until the day I did the firmware update. I then find out I was not the only one. It is irresponsible for the company to just dismiss so many devices ruined by your update. A software patch is not a lot to ask for, just recognize that it is flawed and now you will lose loyal customers because they may be past warranty. So the only remedy is to not do any updates after one's warranty is up, that is a shame because the devices are good, but failing to recognize a disastrous firmware update is arrogant at this point. Please we're all just asking for a firmware patch and taking responsibility for the ruined devices because of this latest update regardless of warranty - hsh 23august2021

Currently there is a bug with the “reminder to move” option. If I turn it off it turns on again as soon as the phone syncs with the Fitbit. This is occurring for my Versa 2 and my partners Charge 4.

Since performing this update,
values still sync for everything except o2, but the only thing that can be read on the device is time. All other values read as —.
o2 while i have never been able to see the chart despite fitbit customer service attempts to fix… i can no longer see it daily in my device at all.
i do have premium.
fitbit customer service has assured me that the fix is coming with the update, but this is worse. Any help is appreciated. I have owned many fitbits, but this experience may be my last. Over a year unresolved.

Versa 2 is the most pathetic Fitbit to date! I hate, hate, hate it! And I'm pretty easy to please. GRRRR!!!

I did it, and it killed my watch (just after latest firmware update)

But they are loosing thousands of previously fidelized customers. I was a firm Fitbit supporter some time ago, but now I'm not recommending Fitbit anymore to friends and colleagues.

Youbare 150% right. They had a big mistake in tjis update and we (users) have yo pay (again) for Fitbit failure. That is not fair

Update:
Me too. It is now a rock
Same here. I should have left it alone. I loved it the way it was. I have the premium app and it says why haven't you used your Fitbit since 7/23!!
