Update: This has now released to 100%
We’re excited to announce that a firmware update for Versa, Versa 2, and Versa Lite will be available soon! Some of you may already have this update available - if you installed it, let us know what you think!
If you don’t see the update yet, that’s expected. Check the Fitbit app in a few days, and you’ll see a message when you can install the update. We expect everyone to receive the update in the coming weeks. We appreciate your patience while we get this update to all of our customers.
Did you know that we gradually release our updates? We do this to make sure everything is working just right for you. Sometimes we find an issue and it might take a little longer than expected for everyone to get the update. While you might see suggestions on how to “force” an update, we ask that you don’t try any of these workarounds. Most of the time the update won’t be available and you can lose data or encounter other difficulties. The best way to get the update is to be patient and wait for the update banner to appear in the Fitbit app.

I got my clock face back. Apparently the update only allows you to use FitBit clock faces.

I just completed the update and have lost my 4 screens that track my information. I can scroll to the shortcut screens and they are still there. The main screen is dark blue and at times has some pixelation. Please let me know what I need to do to fix my watch.

After updating my watch will not change to the correct time after traveling to a new time zone. My phone has correct time. I have synced the watch several times and rebooted it too

FitBit Versa 2, updated it recently and the app said the installation wasn't completed (but it is) restarted Versa watch 3 times, logged out of app and restarted phone, synced again but the battery drains much quicker.
Battery was at 81% at 7pm yesterday and was dead when I woke up and dropped another 15% since I stopped charging it an hour ago

Unfortunately even after multiple calls with the customer care team - no one is able to provide a justification or a solution . All I am hearing a rote rehearsed ‘your device is out of warranty and you need to replace it ‘. How do I get a solution? Can the firmware update be reversed ?

I have the versa and it's relatively new as I didn't use it for the first 2 years I owned it. Just pulled it out last month and it's functioning perfectly and keeping a long charge. Updated the device and now it goes from 50%charge to nothing in less than 10 hour...
What the serious hell did they add to this firmware??!! 🤬 🤬
This essentially brand new watch is now junk. I'm not buying another **ahem** device when they abuse the person purchasing it!!

After this update, my versa lite has stopped working. I can’t sync, can’t even pair with Bluetooth. My device isn’t even being recognized. I am incredibly disappointed.

I have Versa... after the OS update, battery drain is quite rapid. It's barely usable at this point.
I've factory reset the device twice now, experimented with various clock faces... nothing seems to fix the issue.
Please come up with new update!

I wish I didn't update it yesterday (28/7/2021). My Fitbit (Versa 2) won't connect to the app. I tried restarting the Fitbit and my phone, uninstalling and reinstalling the app and then disconnected my Fitbit and now it won't if find it when I try to re-add my Fitbit. I hope this issue is resolved quickly

Just like I’ve seen a lot of people say, this update completely screwed up my heart rate readings. Sweating to death while working out and reading below zone heart rate levels. This is ridiculous. There is absolutely no way I hit 0 zone minutes today, but that’s surely what my Fitbit registered. I’ve done all of the “fixes” and nothing worked. I’ve been thinking of trying the Apple Watch since it has some other features I think I’d like better and this just might push me to do it.

versa 2.
just updated and all my zone minutes now do not match the graph. Prior to updating all matched. After versa rebooted my heart rate dropped to 32 I rebooted and back to the 60s. Only other issue other than those above was my Fitbit clock face changed color (not worried about that just for your info) so far that’s it.

My HR monitor no longer works since July 16th, so I can’t track workouts, sleep, or active minutes and my battery life went from 4 days to less than 24 hours out of the blue.
The customer “support” just copy and pasted your unhelpful FAQ articles and do nothing to actually help.
The media should be aware of this, like last time (see link below), and maybe it’ll prompt Fitbit to actually serve their loyal customers.

EDIT: My Versa 1 no longer tracks steps, floors, or distance. It is essentially just a watch that provides notifications for 20 hours before it dies.
