Last October I bought my Son an Ionic because it boasted Fitbit Pay but then found that no Banks in the UK supported it. I have been enjoying using Apple Pay on the Apple Watch I was given 18 months ago through my High Street Bank. However, I have missed some of the Fitbit features so bought a Versa to find that Fitbit Pay is now supported in the UK by Banks that nobody in the UK has heard of or Bank with! When will Fitbit seek support for Fitbit Pay from the regular High Street Banks in the UK like Lloyds, NatWest, Barclays, HSTB, Royal Bank of Scotland, etc.?

How are we supposed to vote on suggestions? I complained on twitter about the lack of banks on fitbit pay and got pointed towards this forum which i reckon is a bit of a cop out response. Why bring out a feature as appealing as fitbit pay in such a place as the uk without having it set up?! Im sure every uk customer of the ionic feels the same so why not do something about it, its obvious the pay feature needs high street banks on board before you launch it, so why do you need suggestions on this and cant sort this before reviews leave fitbit on the shelf.

Hello @kel2sue66, thanks for your suggestion. Fitbit Pay is currently available for Special Edition Fitbit Versa. Please check here for more details. Thanks for participating in the Feature Suggestions Board.

I am wondering: is there a way to update non-NFC Versas to still be able to use FitBit pay? Maybe there can be a wallet feature that will communicate with the phone for verified credit cards. I know that we can use Starbucks with approved Starbucks card; how can this be expanded to credit cards? Is this not the whole reason we buy smart watches?
Looking forward to hearing feedback.
