Hello,
I keep getting an error for both my debit and credit card when I try to set them up (both are from approved institutions, Chase and SunTrust). The error says "Error there was a problem verifying your card details with your financial institution. Please verify and try again." I have verified the information multiple times and still, neither will work.

Also experiencing this when attempting to set up payment information using a Google Pixel 2 XL phone and a Fitbit Ionic watch. Tried multiple cards. When selecting the "next" option after entering the financial information, the app just immediately presents the same message the OP mentioned. Like, no delay, just immediately presents the message.

Just in case someone comes across this thread when experiencing the same issue -- I eventually was able to add my card the next day. I tried turning on/off my devices, removing/adding devices, toggling wifi, and so on, and nothing really seemed to work. The next day, I tried once again, and it worked right away (I successfully added a card). It seems to me that there was a communication issue between my phone and FitBit that caused this, but who knows 🤔
