My versa switched itself off and will not re-start.
I have attempted to charge it but still no life in it. I've cleaned the contacts checked the charger and USB connection all appear good. The watch was showing around 70% charge wen seen in the morning.
I have followed suggestions shown on the forum but still not switching on ????

@AJC27, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since it won't turn on, nor take a charge. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.
Please let me know if your watch vibrates when you plug it in the charger. If it vibrates, try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face and see if the issue gets fixed.
Keep me posted on the outcome! 😀

Hi OK so its the original clock face never been changed, the watch has now charged overnight and at first appeared OK but within 1 hour was showing 40% battery life then after 2 hours switched itself off again. I have repeated the process of charging and using with similar result.
It appears the battery will not hold its charge? Never had any other signs, or of having to charge more frequently just appears to have failed suddenly. Looks like battery life expectancy appears to be around the 2 years? Little disappointing

OK so already tried most of the tips suggested and your new ones but still the same problem, watch is not holding a charge longer than 2 hours.
It looks like the battery life of the watch is around 2 1/2 years, had no signs of this happening i was not having to charge more often so can only assume that's the expected life span of the battery?
