Fitbit Versa 2/3 Sat Nav

Hey,

I have taken up bike riding and want to start going on longer rides, but need something I can see a map or directions.

I was wondering if either of the fitbit models had this feature? like a car satnav (google maps directions)

I dont mind if I need to be connected to my phone in order for this to work, but would like the watch face to show a right arrow 20 meters when you need to take the next right, or something along those lines.

Hope i am making sense...

I think there are some simple apps giving directions (?) but rather too primitive to be used to navigate the course. In terms of what you're looking for, no Fitbit supports in-watch maps and navigation.

Hi @veganbels - what@t.parkersays.

A phone is far better equipped with the bigger screen mounted on the handle bars in constant view to show and even give directions - Waze for example.

@Guy_ the best is a proper bike computer made for navigation. With the mobile phone, there are a few issues - the touchscreen is sensitive to the environment and the screen is barely visible in the direct sunlight. The watch screen is smaller than a phone, but to be fair it's actually quite good as a tiny bike computer with navigation. I used it many times and never had problems. The transflective display (just my preference when it comes to displaying tech) makes it really well visible in the direct sunlight. The satnav on the watch works really well for me, running, hiking or cycling - it does the job. Although I admit, I had similar doubts until I used in-watch navigation for the first time and now it's a must-have for me.

I found this feature suggestion as "Under Consideration":

However, it's been almost 2 years and no update from Fitbit on whether it's going to happen or not. Maybe with the next watch...
