I have had a Fitbit Versa 2 since just before the release of the Versa 3, and I have had it in a protective case the entire time I have had it. Last week, the button would intermittently not register when clicked. Now, no button presses register, leaving me stuck in the wallet app. The only way to leave an app is to let the watch die, and recharge it, but this does not resolve the issue. I clean it regularly, no dirt or water makes it into the protective case, and it has sustained no physical damage. I have maintained up-to-date software on both my phone and watch. It seems I am not the first person to have this issue. If this is a prevailing issue, shouldn't there be a way to repair or replace defective devices, especially when care has been taken in their use?

I would definitely join in that conversation thread and It wouldn’t hurt to contact Fitbit Customer Service as well.
