Fitbit Versa 2 grainy flickering screen

My Fitbit Versa 2 screen has been turning grainy and flickering. I have updated the app to the latest version, restarted the device, made sure I’m using a Fitbit clock face and have done a factory reset and none of these have helped. (As the factory reset was happening even when the screen was showing Fitbit loading logo the screen was doing the same thing) I’ve read all the threads I could find and try all suggestions. Am super frustrated as my device is only 14 months old (warranty covers only 1 year) but for the price paid I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect it to work longer than that.

Hi @Sanda_K, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I totally understand how you feel about the screen issues that your Versa 2 has experienced. I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

In order to avoid any confusion on my end, I'd like to know if you performed the factory reset as listed below:

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.

After this, set up your watch from scratch and see if the issue gets fixed.

Looking forward to your response.
