My bpm sensor glitched  badly and displayed a 205 bpm for half a second

@TheLocalNeon , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your message and the picture shared. 

Did you take off the Versa 2 when the spike was shown?
Did this repeated or was just a one time experience?

Please make sure that you don't wear the Versa 2 too tight or too loose, as this might cause that the heart rate readings are not recorded correctly. How do I wear my Fitbit device?

In the meantime, charge the Versa 2 at least for 30 minutes. 
Remove it from the charging cable. 
Press and hold the button for 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears on the screen, and then release the button.

This has happened about 3-4 times since, I did try to restart it but it was lagging really badly. It wouldn’t even turn the screen off. I’ve owned this versa 2 since December 2020 and it’s not too tight
