I had the same issue with my Versa2 fitbit. I left it in the car today overnight and the sun was heavy in the Morning. It shutdown and never worked again.
By the way, I am in Egypt

It may take some time to cool off, your tracker is designed to turn off if it gets too hot.

As @Rich_Laue mentioned, your tracker is designed to turn OFF when it gets too hot.
Have you been able to turn your Versa 2 again?

We have had posts from user in the Desert where the air was so hot the tracker shut down while still on the arm
