Fitbit Versa 2 won't turn on

Hello, I purchased my Fitbit Versa 2 in March of 2020. The watch worked great until about 2 weeks ago. I went to check my watch one night and it was not responsive and had a completely black screen I know the battery wasn't out of juice because I had charged it the day before (Up until this point the battery lasted about 4 days). I tried general troubleshooting. I left it to charge for a full day. I held the button on the watch countless times and nothing ever changed. I decided to try the forum in a last-ditched effort to revive the watch. Please let me know if there is anything I can try. I am currently using my 4-year-old Fitbit Blaze that is still working. 

 

If I can't get this fixed I will probably purchase an apple watch next. I just can't imagine dropping a couple of hundred dollars on a Fitbit if it can't even last 2 years off normal use.

Following because my wife has the same issue and we bought hers in April 2020.

This happened to mine this morning also. Read through the manual and followed the instructions to “restart”. Hold side button down for 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears. Everything is now up and running! Hope this helps you too.

Followed. Happened to me yesterday.  Tried all the same fixes. It came on briefly after first intervention; longer next time but not at all since.. In addition,  cleaned contacts on fitbit and charger and tried another charger. Purchased Nov 2019.

Yeah it went black after a few hours. Purchased mine in April 2021. 😡
