Fitbit Versa Died.

I am so upset.  My versa lost it's charge incredibly fast, now it won't charge, and gets really hot on the charger.  I made sure the charger and back of the Fitbit are clean.  I tried restarting it & the 3 button factory reset.  None of this worked, it is just dead.  I got it for Valentine's Day, so it is only 5 months old.  Any ideas of what I should try next?  Super bummed.
