Fitbit Versa Flashing Logo

Hi,

2 weeks ago, my Fitbit Versa quit syncing to my account/phone. I tried resetting it, uninstalling the app, holding the 3 buttons, etc. Nothing worked and now it just flashes the Fitbit logo. I talked to Customer Support and they told me that I would probably need to get it replaced. Unfortunately for me, I'm a few weeks past my warranty, so they only offered me a 25% discount. Odd that it dies right after the warranty is up. I've seen many others have had this issue and yet, Fitbit won't stand by their product.

Has anyone had luck with getting this issue fixed?

Hi @Kotterrock, welcome back to our Community Forums.

Thank you for sharing the details of the issue with your Fitbit Versa, the troubleshooting done and your experience with Customer Support. I am sure they tried to help you in the best possible manner, each case is reviewed individually and a solution that's being provided is based on the Fitbit Warranty. I understand that this can be very frustrating and appreciate your feedback. Our team is always working on improving our devices and user experiences, and your comments are always welcome.

I understand they are basing it off of the Fitbit Warranty. I just don't understand why there isn't any culpability being placed on Fitbit as a company. This sounds like a common issue with the Versa, yet they won't help beyond giving a discount. Why would anyone want a 25% discount on the same watch that has been proven not to last long? These aren't cheap, so they should last considerably longer. It's disappointing that there isn't more responsibility and care taken with Fitbit's customers. I've always promoted the product to friends, family, and coworkers, but I honestly won't be able to recommend Fitbit in the future.
