Fitbit Versa Lite counting steps when not walking

I used to have the Fitbit Charge 2.  I loved it.  It recorded steps correctly.  I wanted the Fitbit Versa Lite and received it for my birthday.  It definitely counts way too many steps that arent actually steps.  Lifting my arm.  Working at my desk typing or moving folders etc.  I have changed the sleep setting to "normal" i wear it on my dominant hand and I made sure that was the setting.  I actually changed hands but still not working correctly.  Why is the Versa not as accurate as the older model Charge 2?   What else can be done to fix this.  I am about to return it and stay with the Charge 2.

@JoniLynne Try changing the Wrist Placement setting in your Account settings to Dominant. Also, you can give Versa a reboot by pressing the back button for 10 sec until Fitbit logo flashes. To remove the "ghost" steps, you can manually log 'Driving' activity in your Fitbit mobile app (or Dashboard on Fitbit.com) for the time period when you accumulated the steps.

I'm having the and problem. I'm sitting at my desk and it's racking up steps from my hand moving paperwork on my desk. This is crazy. I just got this thing last night and already disappointed. I changed the setting to dominant hand, rebooted, and still the same thing. What do I do??
