Fitbit Versa Not Re-Synching

Hello,

I made a new account and attempted to add my Fitbit Versa (which was working perfectly fine) and now it will not add. I follow the instructions to add a new device, it gives me the screen with the pin, I put the pin in on my Samsung Galaxy S9 and then it says "connecting..." for all of 5 seconds before it goes back to the menu and my Fitbit Versa stays at the Fitbit logo screen, not connected. I have tried resetting my Fitbit Versa and phone multiple times as well as turning Bluetooth on and off and uninstalling/reinstalling the Fitbit App. Nothing works. Help!!

I actually managed to figure it out!

I should start with a little background...I deleted my old account and
started a new one to clear ALL my old data (I wanted to start with a fresh
slate since). But every time I tried to sync my Fitbit Versa to my *new*
account it would give me the number, I would put it in, and after a few
seconds of the phone saying "connecting" it would all disappear and not be
paired!

I decided to try logging in to my old account (it was within the 7 day
grace period) and see if it would sync through there and it did! So I let
it do it's updates to the firmware, unpaired it from that account and
logged back in to my new account to pair it. Viola! No problems.

I'm not sure if it was due to the firmware update it needed OR because it
was still paired with my old account pending deletion but this fix
definitely worked. I hope it can help others in a similar situation.

Thank you!

@SarahPeaches Welcome! It's great to see you around! Sorry to hear about your Versa not setting up again. Try going to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Restart your phone and restart your device. After this try setting them up. Also, since you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.

Let me know how it goes!
