I purchased 2 Fitbit Versas less than a month ago. My wife's is fine, but this morning the screen on mine started glitching. It started out a little dark with lines through it, but has gotten progressively worse. Now it will get very bright and glitchy.
I restarted the watch, and the problem remained. Then I read the forum and tried the suggested solution of switching the brightness off of auto to normal. That did not solve the problem either. I do not believe that I kept the packaging to return it to the store. Please let me know if there is another fix, or if this is a situation where I will have to get it replaced.
Here is a very short video of the issue.

My Versa was purchase Sept. 2018 from Amazon. All functions worked great until the December time frame. It had issues running an update, once the update was complete operation seemed fine. However, in January I started noticing that the screen was less responsive and vertical lines would cover the screen. The first time it happened I was on the treadmill and was sweating and even though it is waterproof thought maybe that affected it. So I wiped it off, shut it down and the restarted it and it seemed fine. Now we are in Feb and I have sweat and swam it is an seem to have more frequent occurrence where the screen is blank or vertical lines cover the whole screen. I fear that my "waterproof" Fitbit may not be so waterproof. This is disappointing. I have tried restarts and charging but I believe I have a defective watch and would like to return. Please advise the process to do so.
Thank you,
MissHmm19

I am the original poster of this thread. My replacement that they sent me had the screen go blank a few months ago. At the time I thought it wasn't worth the hassle, but seeing as my warranty will expire in the next couple on months I will now have to do the same thing.

I had a fitbit versa given to me as a gift last year in august, and just in the past week or so it has been glitching non-stop, I've tried restarting, factory reset, charging it all day, same result. What are some other solutions I have to try to troubleshoot this watch?

My daughters versa did this after 5 months. I have been trying to get customer services to replace it for almost 2 months. They are useless idiots. And my 11 year old is absolutely gutted. Disgusting. Will never buy another fitbit again.

Bummer your video didn't come thru, but it was a great idea for troubleshooting purposes. Fitbit will replace them.
Don't worry.

I think they are just busy. It's a young company but I haven't had any problems with them. Some have ..just keep on them. They aren't going to reach out to you for a return. - You have to stay on them and I kinda get that. I don't think I'd want to reach out to customers for a return either.
