Seem to be having an issue with my Fitbit Versa that is only one month old!!!
Woke up on Sunday morning and my watch showed me a time of 09:52 I decided to shut my eyes for another minute or two before I got up. I got up about 5 minutes later (looked at another clock) to find my Fitbit screen wasn't working properly. As you can see from the first photo after holding down the left and lower right button it does reset as the Fitbit logo is visible.
I'm just wondering whether anyone else has had this problem? What anyone may think has caused it?? And advice on whether to contact Fitbit or the shop I bought it from?
Thank you in advance

Contact them. They will walk you through a bunch of troubleshooting ideas then check your warranty! You could get a new one. This will be my 3rd one in less than a year (April 27 will be a year since I ordered).

How long did you have your versa for fitbit to replace it? Ive had mine for 13 months and the screen just messed up today. I havent been able to try what everyone suggested but i will be trying first thing in the morning.

Hi @justjessee
Did you get your versa problem solved? I’ve got mine for a little bit over 3 months and the same thing happened today.
It’s still working, as I can update all my data on the app, but the display is completely useless.

I chatted with support both times my screen went bad. I'm on my 3rd watch and so far so good. I've had this one for a few months and am only using the Bitmoji watch face instead of 3rd party watch faces and am NOT swimming with it. Hoping it lasts longer than 3 to 6 months this time! Time will tell! 😛

Me too!
Bought mine in November 2018 and I woke up to this issue this morning 😭
Limited warranty for us looks to be only a year - too bad we don’t live in Europe, then it’s two years! 🙄

I've had my Fitbit since September 2019, this screen glitch happened I contacted Fitbit who have refused to honour their warranty. This is the last Fitbit I ever buy! And I've had three,They all of which haven't lasted two years. These are a disposable watch and, in my experience, don't last any longer than about 2 years anyway. I've found a much cheaper replacement £35 that does the job with excellent reviews and Fitbit will never receive another penny from my pocket. Utter crap products over priced and not fit for purpose.

Fit BIt needs to fix this issue. The previous one was sent back to Factory due to a faulty screen. Replaced Fitbit versa Screen is blank again. it is vibrating counting steps as if all is normal. But screen is showing blank. tried changing clock face maybe that was an issue (thought so). still no luck.
Why can't Fitbit fix this issue for once? or if they can't fix, stop selling the devices. almost every model has this issue.

I had this with two versa lites so i bought the versa 2 and one month after buying it mine is doing the same. Is this a common issue on quality control?

That often happens if you allow it to go fully flat. In you app turn off automatic time and set it then it’s fine

I’ve had the same issue with my versa, bought in 2018, had it replaced. My replacement just went bad last night. I called they said nothing they can do. It happy to see this seems to be a common issue and Fitbit didn’t seem to want to help at all. Not happy.

This happened to me but I've had it over a year. I woke up one day to a black screen even while it's charging. However it still vibrates when messages or any notifications come through.
