Fitbit Versa black screen

My fit bit versa is fully charged & was working great. I was at lunch and looked at the time & it was blank. I had just completed a step goal 15 min prior and it was fine. The charge is good. I didn't drop it or hit it on anything. None of the buttons respond. It was brand new and I've only been using it since mid Jan 2019. Help! I love my Fit Bit Versa & can't afford another one 😞

@KK1970 welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Versa since it stopped turning on all of a sudden.

 

If you haven't done so, please restart your Versa as described in this help article. This will refresh your watch internally. After this, charge your Versa for 2-3 hours and see if the screen turns on.

Hello Yes, thank you. I have tried that with no luck. I've only had my Fit Bit Versa since Jan 11, 2019. Very disappointing. Especially with vacation in less than 2 weeks. I'm so lost. I've been so careful with it and have followed all instructions. Can someone help me with replacing or fixing it. That's a lot of money to spend for something working only 6 months. Please advise what I should do. I notice there are many people having problems.
