and I cant turn it on or off?

@KarenYoung welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since it just shows a red mark.

 

If you haven't done so, please restart your Versa as described in this help article. After this, try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party one and see if the issue gets fixed.

Thank you, the Fitbit completely died and John Lewis replaced it
