Fitbit Versa issues with syncing and tracking sleep

Hi

I got my Versa last Thursday and have been having problems with it ever since.

I synced on Thursday and it would not sync again. Tried deleting the app and reinstalling, resetting Versa, tried 3 different Wifi networks, turning bluetooth on and off, pairing and un-pairing etc...

3 days ago the app stopped recognising the Versa and I could not get it to pair until last night. It synced fine. Now, it won't sync at all again. I don't think it should be this hard to use such an expensive activity tracker! The app also doesn't recognise/find the Versa when I'm trying to connect the Versa to Wi-Fi.

The watch also has never recognised when I'm asleep. I've worn it on the wrist that is dominant, non-dominant, worn it close to the wrist bone, 2 fingers-width up from the wrist and 3 fingers-width up. It literally just doesn't even acknowledge me being asleep. I have not used the track sleep function as I bought the watch as it is supposed to track it automatically.

Any ideas please?

My phone is an iPhone 7, iOS 13.5.1

Versa is version 32.70.8.0

Thanks
