Fitbit Versa not receiving text notifications

Hi, I have had my Fitbit Versa for 18 months and it generally works fine (although has an odd patch when notifications are a bit sporadic).  I got a new Samsung Galaxy S10 back in October and all was working (reasonably) well until January when my Fitbit stopped receiving text notifications.  It generally gets notifications from other applications (although again this can be quite sporadic) but not text.  Also, it often struggles to sync properly and sometimes the phone doesn't appear to be able to find the device even when they are sitting side by side.  I rely on my Fitbit to notify me when messages come in and am finding it very frustrating that I cannot trust it to work properly and am constantly having to check my phone which is kept on silent at work etc.  I have tried all the troubleshooting tips but nothing works.  Reading other comments this appears to be a common issue that sounds like it needs resolving.  However, if there is anything I can do in the meantime please let me know.
