My Fitbit versa was not turning on. So I Checked in community to look for possible solution. I found one which said to press all three buttons for around 3 minutes and fitbit logo will appear. I did that and it started working. Same problem happened again. Battery was ok but still fitbit died. I tried to use the same solution pressing buttons for around 3 minutes but it didn't work this time. I tired to press all three buttons for more then 3 minutes all buttons individually for more then 3 minutes and kept it on charge for more then 10 hours but no result.
Please help me.

Hi @Deepan, welcome to the Community Forums!
Thanks for your post and for trying some troubleshooting steps before to posting over here. Since the restart process didn't resolve this matter, please try the following steps to perform a factory reset on your Versa:
Take in consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc.
Let me know if the issue persists and if you have any additional questions.

I have tried all the step still no result.
I have noticed there is water droplets inside my heart sensor?
I have never gone swimming or had shower with Fitbit on. Never used it rough. Its just sometimes i do wash hands with fitbit on.
I thought Fitbit was swim proof?
I think fitbit is false advertising.

I have had my versa less than a year and suddenly the face won't light up. It vibrates for notifications but there's nothing on the face. I've tried the cleaning and reset options given but nothing works. Help! I feel lost without it!

Welcome to the Community Forums @SHarden22 and thanks for your reply @Deepan.
@Deepan I appreciate the details that were shared with me, it seems that your device was damaged by water. Let me share with you that it's not false advertising, your Versa is swim-proof up to 50m, however, since water got inside the device, let me share with you that our Customer Support team was contacted on your behalf, please keep an eye on your email because they'll be in touch with you soon.
@SHarden22 Thanks for your post and for troubleshooting your device. Since the restart and battery not charging troubleshooting steps didn't work, please try the factory reset that was shared on my previous post and also changing the clock face of your device. Let me know if the issue persists.
I'll be around if further assistance is needed.

Your update is appreciated @SHarden22.
It's not necessary to see the screen of your device to perform a factory reset because this procedure is with the buttons of your Versa. Please try the steps that were shared on my previous post and let me know if the issue persists so we can move forward.
Looking forward to your reply.

That didn't work. Still a black screen.

I am having a similar issue with my versa. Earlier today the display started to get grainy and had blurry. I noticed there was an update available so I installed the latest update. Now there is no display at all. I tried to restart it and then tried a factory reset. The watch seems to turn on (the green light starts blinking in the back and the app shows that it is trying to sync) but no image shows up. Then the screen goes completely black and maybe the watch turns off? This came on pretty suddenly so I am not sure if its an issue with the new update or some other hardware problem. I did some deep cleaning a few days ago and may have gotten some water on my watch, but I though it was water resistant and this really should not have done any damage to the watch. Any ideas how to trouble shoot this? or is it a lost cause?
Thanks!
Anna

I also called fitbit support earlier today, and when the factor reset was unsuccessful, I was told there was no other trouble shooting that could be done at this point. I am going to leave the watch in some rice for now, in case it is water damage....although if it is, I imagine it's too late for rice.
Any other hail mary ideas?

My fitbit died once and I pressed all three buttons at the same time for around 2-3 minutes and it started again. After then i did a reset on watch and it started working again, but after a week it died again and screen was blank. I followed the same process for pressing all three buttons for more then 5 minutes but it didn't work. I kept it on charge for more then 10 hours but still nothing. After then I noticed some water drops inside my heart rate sensor. As soon as I noticed water inside I kept it inside rice now water drops have evaporated as I kept watch inside for around 7 days. I took the watch out charged for more then 10-12 hours and tried to press all three buttons for 15 seconds, 1 minute, 3 minutes and more but it didn't work. I think its a lost cause.
I kept my watch with good care. Never used it for swimming. the only time it has touched water was during claning. It is still in near new condition and even belt is in near new condition. More then AUD250 was spent on watch only because it was advertised as a fitness watch to be used in any condition, but it even failed to survive 1 year. My Casio G Shock was AUD120 and it been going on for years I use it for work, inside water but never missed a beat.
As you mentioned I will be contacted by a fitbit customer care but I haven't received any communication.

Do FITBIT give replacement as they did false advertisement?
I own fitbit versa. Never went swimming with it. The only time it has been in contact with water is when I am cleaning it.
Never used it roughly. Still looks like new screen and body stretch free, belt near new.
How can water enter inside it?
Fitbit please give me a logical explanation. Do not say try holding all three buttons for 15 secs or 3 minutes as I have done everything. Kept on charge for more then 10 hours. Kept it in rice.
Is FITBIT advertising wrongly to fool customer into buying product worth more then AUD250.
