Fitbit Versa not turning on

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi,

Longtime Fitbit user here. I went on a hike and my Fitbit did not count my steps (I got something like 5,000 steps even though I walked for hours). The next few days, after restarting, it seemed to catch up (even though I was working all day from home which usually nets me 5,000-10,000 steps, I got up to 90,000 in a day). Restarts didn’t help to remedy the situation. Battery was running low, so I put it into my charger. It charged overnight, but now it won’t even turn on anymore. Can you please help?

I got the Fitbit last March.
thank you for your help,

Georg

Hi @gg98, welcome to our Fitbit Community. Regarding the unresponsive screen issue that your Versa 2 has experienced, I appreciate the time spent trying to get it resolved before contacting our forums.

I would like to know if your Versa 2 vibrates when you put it on the charger. In the meantime, try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. After this, charge your Versa 2 for 2-3 hours and see if it comes back to life.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

Hi JuanJoFitbit,

I appreciate the quick response!

No, it does not vibrate once in the charger. I tried the suggestions in the article yo sent and kept charging the Fitbit, but unfortunately no changes.

Do you have any other suggestions?

Thank you!

Hi, I've just logged onto this forum and see that you are having the same problem as myself. I was out walking last week and on my way home my fitbit screen suddently went black/turned off. I thought it was the battery so plugged it in for charging. Nothing happened. Left it even overnight to see and nothing, it's totally dead?
