Fitbit Versa not working

Got my fit bit Versa in February 2019. Was working fine, except wouldn't sync to my messages at all. But I didn't worry about that too much. Got in the shower with it on by accident on 7/16/19, and instantly noticed and took it off, dried it and placed on the bathroom counter top. First time ever getting it wet, but hey, it's water proof! Next day, wouldn't sync to the current time, then it died. When trying to charge it, never came back on. I've tried charging and doing a reset by holding down the left and bottom buttons. Nothing happens!! Please help, I'm missing out on so many step counts! =(

Hi @ShayGetsaBitFit,

 

It sounds like water got in somehow and corrupted the watch.  In that case your best bet is to just dry it out with white rice.

 

I personally don't shower with mine on.  I know that it's waterproof, so it's not the water I'm worried about.  Shampoo and conditioner have chemicals in them which could destroy the watch.  If you are still under warranty, I would contact Support now and ask for an exchange.
