My husband's fitbit versa's screen keeps going from a normal screen to it gradually disappearing.  It appears it is working, but you can't see the screen.  It kinda looks like the matrix with lines.

I have reset it and the screen was good for maybe 10 seconds and then has died out again with lines and then totally black.  I can't go through the steps to change the clock because the screen is gone.

@jks1516, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist with your husband's Fitbit Versa since the screen stopped working properly and it only shows lines.

Please restart the Fitbit Versa as described in this help article. After this, try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face and see if the issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome! 😀

It's been a few days since I have tried the suggestions provided. The screen on the Fitbit still disappears and is unusable. Last night my husband said he got an email from Fitbit saying goodnight. It has been in my purse because I was waiting for further instructions. It is dead this morning so I put it on the charger again.

on 12/5/19 I reported problems with my husband's fitbit versa and received a response to reset it and try to change the clock, I responded that I was able to reset it, but unable to change the clock because after 10 seconds (which I have timed) the screen locks up and/or disappears with/without lines on it.  I don't know how long it takes for the screen to restore, but it has taken long enough for us to not time it or wait on it.  I sent a reply message on 12/8/19 as well and have not received any response.  What do we do next?
