My Fitbit Versa was working and it just randomly turned off and will not turn back on. I have the Fitbit charging but there is no sign of it turning back on. Anyone know what is going on? This is a little frustrating since I have had it for a week.

My Fitbit Versa turned off and wont turn back on. I have tried everything. I contacted customer support and they offered me 25%off select old style watches. I had it for 16 months so it was outside of the one year warrant. Do they really expect consumers to buy a new watch every 12-18 months? Absolutely ridiculous.

Mine was only 2 weeks out of the warranty and was not even offered a 25% discount. Not going to recommend to anyone.

I had a replacement versa that had this happen after only 9 months. They didn't want to help at all. I think I'm done with Fitbit.

I have had the same problem, I'm not sure if it's because of my watch face but one day I woke up and checked my watch and it wasn't responding. I tried to restart but it hasn't turned on or shown anything no matter what I do. I tried to use another charger but it didnt help. I dont think this is caused by the watch face because I set a Fitbit one when I got it and nothing has happened until now, and I have had it for a few months
Please help

I am hoping this will help.
I noticed my versa had not synced in a few days, although it is set to do so. I restarted the device, which had about 75% charge, and now won't turn back on.
I tried a factory reset, nothing. Researched online, not much. Contacted customer service, and they were walking me through issues of my phone and the app...not addressing the issue of the watch itself...and that was after 45 mins.
So, is there a way I can bring this versa back to life or is it an expensive paperweight now?

Follow the thread regarding the new firmware update when it was announced and pushed.
There are a lot of users reporting the same issues after this firmware update was pushed.

Hello TOguy
As I said before I had this same problem and what brought it back to life for me was plugging it into a high powered computer or processor, I don't know exactly why it worked but my guess is that it gave it an energy boost to power it back on.
It hasn't happened again and it might not have been the actual fix. The same as you I went online and tried everything that I could find but none of it worked.
I really hope this helps!

That is happening to me, too. I went for a swim yesterday @ the YMCA and it worked 10 min afterward, but on the way home, it wasn’t turning on.... I tried holding the buttons down, but it is not working. Was it because I wore it when I was swimming or something else? When I got home I held the buttons down and it flashed a screen saying it was @ 0% battery, so I charged it overnight. This morning, when I hold the buttons down, nothing is happening at all. It isn’t even saying that it has low battery. I am very frustrated and confused. Can you help me, since the holding down the buttons isn’t working?

Try holding all 3 buttons down at the same time for about 15-30 seconds. That's what turned mine back on. Just hold em down till it turns back on. Hope you get it back!

Dear FitBit support team,
I am having the same issue as many others, I believe. One fine day My Versa just went blank and has not switched back on. I have tried both the soft reset and the factory reset multiple times but to no avail. What else can I do, to solve this?
Additionally, if there are so many customers facing this issue, then it seems like there is a manufacturing problem. Should FitBit not try to solve for it pro-actively. Most great consumer companies today do this to the extent of even recalling devices that are faulty or providing software upgrades with the bug resolutions. Hope FitBIt will look into this as a serious matter, lest they create a set of detractors. Hoping to see some help in this regard. Many thanks all

I would try looking through this whole page on 'Fitbit Versa will not turn on', it can be very helpful to try multiple things, for me as once it was fixed, it did not shut down like that again (so far at least). As some of the others on this page have said, I tried to restart it and I held down the buttons, but i suggest trying what worked for my watch; leave it be for a day or so then try to give it a bit of a jumpstart with a fast charger or a computer.
I really hope this helps because this has actually become a problem with these Fitbit Versas

Since the latest update, the ONLY way I can get my Fitbit to turn on is to do it this way.
