Fitbit Versa won’t charge

I’ve had my Fitbit Versa for almost a year now and for the past few weeks I’ve been having trouble charging it! Got a new charger, cleaned it and now it’s completely dead and won’t charge! How do I get a charge for my Versa or do I have to replace it?

Here are some things to try, though you have done some already:

Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

@Dollie-2016 Welcome to our Fitbit Community! Regarding the charging issues that your Versa is experiencing, I'd like to follow up and would like to know if the issue persists or if your Versa could take a charge after following the troubleshooting steps that shared my friend @JohnnyRow.

If you found his post helpful, please accept it as a solution so other users that experience the same issue can find it easier.

No nothing has helped! I’ve been told it’s the watch itself that’s not any good, which sucks cause I haven’t had it for one year yet! I’m very disappointed with this , I’ve grown to really love my Fitbit and feel lost without it

I don’t know what’s going on with my Fitbit but after 2 days of trying to get it to charge after it died, and having about a week or two of trouble with charging it! I called the support number today and while I was on the phone with a agent I received a notification from my Fitbit that it’s charging. I now have a full charge on my Fitbit and it’s working perfectly! Should I still replace it before the warranty expires in November or just go with the flow? I’m confused cause I didn’t except a update about a week ago when it came across the app! I’m thinking that maybe the problem!

I am currently on hold with customer support... my Versa will be 1 year old also in Nov, and it is totally dead. The app says it is fully charged and I have done everything that was supposed to 'fix'.

I am discouraged and keep losing the live chat.

I actually left my phone on the charger for two days since it died while I
was on the phone with customer support earlier today I received a message
from my Fitbit that it was charging. I now have a full charge and it’s
working perfectly! The gentleman that was helping me gave me my case number
to call back if I should have any more problems with it but it’s the watch
itself it’s not any good! It’s a shame Fitbit has such an amazing product
but isn’t built to sustain a longer life span for it’s price! I bought a
new charger and all but I know eventually I’ll have to replace my Versa
before November before my warranty runs out!
