Fitbit Versa won't turn on

My fitbit versa all of a sudden just stopped working.

I've tried charging, the 3 button reset, 2 button reset and this hasn't worked.

I've noticed a solid red light permanently on the watch, second light in from the left. Does this mean anything?

The watch is less than a year old.

@TheWhyNotGuy I'm assumig the screen is black. Have you tried holding all three buttons for several minutes? If this does not help, I am afraid at this point you will have to contact Customer Support as you might require a replacement device. Here's the link to Customer Support page.

@macvguy The Original Poster does not have Versa Lite but Versa 1. Please read before you use CAPS. Sorry. Below are the instructions on how to perform a factory reset using the back button for Versa 2 and Lite:

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
    1. Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
    2. Hold the button again until you feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates you initiated the factory reset.
